		School Traditions
	International Walk to School Day International Walk to School Day is an event held every year in October in conjunction with Safe Routes – The National Center for Safe Routes to School. A.B. Combs’ students, staff, parents, and community members participate in a one mile walk to school in an effort to promote physical fitness, pedestrian safety, and conservation. The caravan meets at Western Boulevard Presbyterian Church at 7:45am. The walk proceeds down Kaplan Drive, to Merwin Road, and concludes on the school grounds with presentations by the Combs Choir, guest speakers, visiting ROTC, and more.
